Arizona football recruiting: Wildcats make four scholarship offers this week

Getting those offers out there

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

The evaluation period is now open, which means all recruits for 2016 can be measured both physically and academically.

This week, Arizona recruiting has picked up a bit with four known offers being sent out. Three came on the offensive side of the ball, meanwhile one was awarded to a defensive end.

Aubrey White is a 3-star all-purpose running back from Wylie East (Wylie, TX) checking in at 5-11 190lbs. White is ranked 88th among all running backs in the nation and holds offers to Boise State, Michigan State, Mississippi State, Oklahoma and Washington, among others.

His junior year highlights are below.

Andre Anthony is the lone defensive recruit that was offered. He holds offers to Georgia, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and TCU, among others. Out of Edna Karr (New Orleans, LA), many expect him to stay close to home and play in the SEC. His size at 6-3 215lbs would be nice on the defensive line, something that Rich Rodriguez has been longing for.

Arizona offered Demetric Felton, who has already committed to UCLA. Felton is a 3-star running back out of Great Oak (Temecula, CA). He's ranked 9th in the nation among all running backs and holds offers to Michigan, Utah, and Washington, among others.

Perhaps the most highly-touted of the group is athlete Jack Jones. At 5-11 170lbs, Jones is a 4-star receiver hailing from Long Beach Poly (Long Beach, CA). He primarily plays wide receiver, but often switches to the defensive side to play corner. He's a top 100 recruit, ranked 79th overall and 4th among all athletes for 2016. Notre Dame, Oklahoma and UCLA seem to be the favorites for his talents. His junior year highlights vs Servite are below.
