Some late night recruiting fireworks on Tuesday for the Arizona Wildcats as three-star linebacker Jacob Colacion gave his verbal commitment.

Colacion is a 6-1, 215 pound outside linebacker from La Habra HS in California. He was in Tucson on a visit a few weeks ago, and it was pretty much a given from there that he would commit to Arizona after that, despite some talk about him possibly leaning Northwestern.
Not sure why all the Northwestern talk picked up lately with Colacion but it was always gonna be UA after that trip pic.twitter.com/vHNYmMBlP9

Our own Gabe Encinas had Colacion as one of the ten targets Arizona was likely to land a couple of weeks ago.
This is the first linebacker in the 2016 class for Arizona, and the eighth player overall.
To say the coaching staff is excited about @JakeColacion would likely be an understatement

Here's a look at some of his work from his junior season of high school.
