The Arizona Wildcats had plenty of visitors on campus the past couple of weekends, among those was 3-star running back Jessie Britt. Committed to Western Kentucky since July, while on campus, Britt decommitted from the Hilltoppers, and later committed to Arizona.

He first received an offer from Arizona on January 5th and acted quickly, scheduling a visit for the 15th of January. Given the timeline of events, it seemed likely that Arizona would have a strong chance at Britt's services. The coaching staff asked long time commit Sean Riley to grey shirt, which didn't sit well with him and seems good as gone. Then, the staff offered Britt and got him on campus, finally earning his verbal commitment.
Britt hails from Auburndale, FL and checks in at 5-10 170lbs. He's ranked 140th in the nation among all running backs and held offers to programs including Bowling Green, Central Michigan and Miami. He's a versatile threat, able to play running back and wide receiver, which serves him well in the Arizona offense. He's a freak athlete, and I think he'll do great things in this offense once he hits the field.
Whether he'll be a running back or wide receiver is unknown for now. But either way, you can expect Britt to make a splash on offense when he gets the ball in his hands. I'll be talking to him later this week about his visit and commitment.
