The Arizona Wildcats added a much-needed defensive lineman on Friday and their 26th commitment in the 2017 class. Matt Leo, a 6-foot-7, 265 pound Australian, who plays for Arizona Western College, gave the 'Cats his pledge.
A rugby player by trade, Leo only started playing football last year. That said, he does have the tools to be a productive football player and he has a ton of upside. His other offers were from Iowa State and UCF, with Iowa State making a huge push for him.
Leo does intend to graduate in December and enroll at Arizona in January. He joins Braxton Burmeister, Darrian McNeal, Tony Fields, and Delshawn Phillips as Arizona's early enrollees for the 2017 class.

Leo has ran a 4.77 second 40 yard dash before being taught how to properly run. He has also repped 225 pounds 28 times on bench. Vince Amey, Rod Smith, and Miguel Reveles were his primary recruiters.
