The Arizona Wildcats are one of five finalists for the No. 1 high school basketball recruit.
Canadian forward R.J. Barrett listed his top five on Wednesday, and Arizona made the cut along with the Duke Blue Devils, Oregon Ducks, Michigan Wolverines, and Kentucky Wildcats.
I want to thank all the schools that have recruited me.. these are my top 5 in alphabetical order. Haven't figured out any visits yet. pic.twitter.com/hID9BVGWUg

Barrett, who attends Montverde Academy in Florida, overtook the No. 1 spot in 2018 after Marvin Bagley III reclassified and committed to Duke earlier this week.
Barrett actually reclassified, too, only he moved up from 2019 to 2018. You can find an in-depth scouting report on the 6-foot-6 forward here.
The Wildcats already have three commits in their 2018 class, but Sean Miller said last week that Arizona will likely sign five to sign players when all is said and done.
The class, which features point guards Brandon Williams and Jahvon Quinerly and forward Shareef O’Neal, is ranked No. 1 in the country.
Barrett said he doesn’t have any visits scheduled yet.
In July, Barrett had 38 points, 13 rebounds, and five assists to lead Canada to an upset over Team USA in the Under-19 circuit.
