Arizona basketball recruiting: Wildcats offer 2018 forward Nate Laszewski

The 2018 forward is a four-star prospect

The Arizona Wildcats have offered 2018 forward Nate Laszewski, a four-star prospect from Northfield, Mass.

The 6-foot-10 sharpshooter is the No. 125 player in the 2018 class, per 247Sports, and the No. 34 small forward.

Laszewski has 14 offers, and Wisconsin, Purdue, and Wake Forest are considered the leaders to land him.

Laszewski recently picked up offers from North Carolina, Villanova, Virginia, and Indiana. Wisconsin may have the advantage, though, as his father played there and his sister is currently on the women’s basketball team.

It certainly wouldn’t be the first time Wisconsin has beaten Arizona (too soon?).

Arizona already has three commits in its 2018 class — point guards Brandon Williams and Jahvon Quinerly, and forward Shareef O’Neal — but none of them profile as pure shooters, which means Laszewski could be an intriguing fit.

And the Wildcats have plenty of room to add him, as Sean Miller said the Wildcats will likely have six or seven players in their 2018 class.

Here are some of Laszewski’s highlights from the Adidas Summer Championships. You can see how lightning-quick his release is.
