The Arizona Wildcats added an important local talent to the team Wednesday, signing 3-star quarterback Jamarye Joiner from Cienega High School.
Joiner is one of two quarterbacks Arizona signed on National Signing Day. The other is 3-star quarterback Kevin Doyle, the Washington D.C. Gatorade Player of the Year.

My Thoughts: Joiner has progressed leaps and bounds in his passing ability from 2016 to 2017. He still isn’t perfect but it is a visible difference between the two years. He can throw either in the pocket or on the run. His arm strength and accuracy have increased as well. He has a higher ceiling than some think and should only get better under Noel Mazzone. He is also a very solid runner and can prove to be an issue to opposing defenses.
