Sean Miller hasn’t taken any time off since the Arizona Wildcats were ousted in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

Instead, he’s been on the recruiting trail and Wednesday he visited two important 2018 Southern California prospects.

Miller had in-home visits with former UA commit Brandon Williams and Birmingham High School wing Devonaire Doutrive, according to Evan Daniels of 247Sports.

Williams, who decommitted from Arizona on March 2 following the release of ESPN’s wiretap report, is the No. 7 point guard in the country and No. 31 prospect overall.

Williams has garnered interest from several schools since breaking off with Arizona, including Oregon which recently offered him.

“Always happy after an offer especially from a prestigious school like Oregon because I know what they have done with their players,” Williams told ScoopDuck. “And I mean it’s Oregon... and having the opportunity to play with guys like (Bol) Bol and [Louis King] can’t pass that up.”

Doutrive, a 6-foot-5 wing, is the No. 82 player in the 2018 class, and has offers from Georgetown, ASU, and San Jose State among others.

Miller recently watched him and teammate Christian Koloko take on Shareef O’Neal and Crossroads School in the Southern California Division II regional final.

Arizona currently has zero 2018 commits but is set to lose seven scholarship players so it needs to add some talent — and fast — since National Signing Day is roughly two months away.

Landing Williams and/or Doutrive would be a great start.
