Pac-12 schools aren’t the only ones showing major interest in 2018 point guard Brandon Williams.
The former Arizona Wildcats commit is scheduled to receive an in-home visit from Gonzaga Bulldogs associate coach Donny Daniels on Thursday.

Up until now, Williams had only received visits from Pac-12 schools — Arizona, Colorado, Oregon, and ASU, to be specific. Williams was supposed to visit with UCLA, too, but that was shelved.
In any event, it does seem like the Encino, California native will be playing college ball close to home, and many believe Arizona and Oregon are the frontrunners to land him, though obviously Gonzaga can make a compelling pitch given its success over the last couple decades.
Williams decommitted from Arizona on March 2 after ESPN released its Sean Miller wiretap report, but has insisted the Wildcats are still in consideration.
The 6-foot-3 point guard is the No. 31 recruit in the country. National Signing Day is May 16.
