Nico Mannion, one of the top point guard recruits in the country, will be making a “huge announcement” at Elite 100 camp on July 20, he announced Friday.
The five-star prospect listed his top 10 schools in June, which were the Arizona Wildcats, Duke Blue Devils, Kansas Jayhawks, Oregon Ducks, Villanova Wildcats, UCLA Bruins, USC Trojans, Utah Utes, Marquette Golden Eagles, and Vanderbilt Commodores.

However, it seems unlikely Mannion will be announcing his commitment next month, since he has not taken any official visits yet.
It’s more plausible that Mannion will be announcing his decision to reclassify from 2020 to 2019, which has been in the works for quite some time.
“I’m going to take college credits this summer so I have the option if I want to,” he told Adam Zagoria in April.
Arizona is considered the favorite to land Mannion. All 13 Crystal Ball predictions have him picking the UA.
The Phoenix product unofficially visited Arizona on May 30, which was just the latest of several visits he’s made to the school.
Mannion is the No. 22 player in his class and No. 2 point guard. He averaged 23.4 points, 4.7 rebounds, 5.8 assists, and 2.0 steals at Pinnacle High School last season.
