On Sunday afternoon, Mike Candrea recorded his 1,500th career victory as the Arizona Wildcats’ head softball coach.
Immediately after the game, Candrea got the ice water bath, and there was a presentation in the Hillenbrand Stadium infield that included a tribute video to the school’s most legendary coach.

Afterwards, Candrea gave additional thoughts on the milestone as well as what this team is capable of.
And star pitcher Danielle O’Toole, who was in the circle for this historic game, also had some things to add about this team.
