Tale of the Tape

(7) Tucson Tamale Company

Tucson Tamale Company Jason Bartel

Neighborhood: Three locations (East side pictured)

Website

Cuisine: Mexican

Yelp rating: 4.5 stars

Entertaining Yelp review: "Why not five stars? First of all they screwed up the order, forgetting two of our tamales. A verbal read-back is recommended on large orders. Second, the bathroom door mechanism is off and locked in one of my family members. Luckily they called me via their cell, and I had the help them escape the bathroom after messing around with the outer lock."

(10) Brooklyn Pizza Company

Brooklyn Pizza Jason Bartel

Neighborhood: Fourth Ave.

Website

Cuisine: Pizza

Yelp rating: 3.5 stars

Entertaining Yelp review: "Hold on let me tell you a little something about Brooklyn's. Their pizza is flames, the workers are cool, and their garlic knots so strong you best not kiss ya girl till you hungry again.

HOWEVER, this one time the homie ordered a delivery via Tapingo (delivery company) and didn't get his pizza delivered two blocks away for two hours. He called after the first hour to complain and they promised him free knots. Can you tell where this is going? He ain't get his knots.

Overall Brooklyn's is live so if you got a craving for some goodness and can't get into raider's reef, go to Brooklyn's."
